Chicago market trends show hogs 200 to 300 pounds up to 22.00 top with 21.75 typical 200 to 270 pounds and sows 19.55 to 20.50. Cattle and calves saw fed steers and yearlings up, choice steers around 26.25 with upper notes, cows and bulls firm to higher, beef cows 10.50 to 13.50. Sheep active with lambs steady, spring lambs at 20.00, yearlings and slaughter ewes weaker around 25 cents or more.

Market receipts include 3 cars and 27 trucks with fryers and broilers at 31 to 34 cents, heavy ducks at 20, small ducks 15, ducklings 26, geese 19. Eggs total 958 cases with unsettled wholesale prices. corn and oats quoted steady with several yellow corn grades around 2.03 to 2.06 per bushel and oats near 75 to 77 cents. Farley nominal prices for malting at 1.46 to 1.68 and feed 1.25 to 1.53.
