In Trepkine county near Depoy Kentucky Mrs Ellen Turley shot her 4 year old child then killed herself after obtaining her husband’s pistol. On returning to the scene she fired again at her other children who fled. The tragedy is thought a temporary insanity. Also reports Cardinal Ledochowski’s death after a long illness in Rome.
DeKalb motion to move the county courthouse faces a veto as Sycamore files a petition with over 4400 names to require an election. With 5250 needed, residents will vet signatories amid allegations of misrepresentation by DeKalb during the petition drive.
