Harry Tracey the outlaw appeared near Miller's rooine family four miles from Kaneaskat on Tuesday. He is not wounded and still carries a rifle two revolvers and ammunition. He wears a derby hat and a slowed hat in its racket.
In Lansing during July, Agricultural College students studied local mosquitoes under a microscope and identified two species. The ordinary species is Harmicese while the other, Connaropheles, is the rarer, more dangerous form with long palpi visible to observers.

In Winslow near Pike County two young men Spradlin and Hurt are under guard after beating 10 and 12 year old Mason girls in an orchard. Passers by stopped the assault as the girls, exhausted and bleeding, were carried home. The magistrate released them on bond but later rearrested them amid fears a child could die.
Frankfort July 24 Mike Mired Fieldia claims to be daughter of wealthy Deer Creek landowner Frank Fields and admits forging a $25 check while a stenographer for J J M La Follette Indianapolis district attorney. She says illness and lack of funds drove her to crime aided by a stepmother. A second warrant seeks her arrest for forging her father's name on a $100 note.
In Chicago a libel suit follows sworn charges by Joseph Man reddy contractor against Alderman Stanley Kitt and Alderman George Leininger alleging they conspired to obtain 200 for engineering a city ordinance.
