Turner Rejects Pay Hike for His State Employes
Des Moines UPI reports Iowa Attorney General Richard Turner will not grant cost-of-living pay increases to Justice Department employees yet. He will decide after reviewing the budget if raises, possibly including merit increases, can be funded. He notes salaries may exceed his own 29000 salary and cites a legal ceiling issue.
