Ainsworth Group Votes to Back New Center Initiative
The Christian Service group at United Methodist Church in Ainsworth heard Gene De Fazio, executive director of the County Developmental Center, outline rehab plans, costs, and target clients. The program may include an activity center, basic work training, modular work experience, and a potential residential unit with house parents. The WSCS voted for a bake sale to support the center, with an October 13 Smorgasbord date proposed. Additional notes cover club events, births, reunions, and community announcements.
