Ten youths including four girls and six boys were detained for questioning in Webster City. Missouri Valley Youth Found Dead In Cellar
Rica rd Schlagenhauft a 16 year old son of Mr and Mrs Otto Schlagenhautt was found dead in the basement of his Missouri Valley home. Coroner W L Yeaman ruled electrocution from a short circuit in an extension port as the cause. The boy’s feet were in soft mud and he left surviving his parents two brothers and two sisters.

Livingston Hollingsworth Dies at 73 in Iowa Home
Livingston Hollingsworth 73, a Spanish American War veteran, was found dead in his bed at 611 West Washington Street likely of a heart attack. Funeral services set for Saturday at 4:30 PM at L. A. Jones chapel. burial in Elm Grove cemetery. He served in the Iowa National Guard and as a first lieutenant in the 50th Infantry Volunteers during the Spanish American War. He is survived by brothers Clarence and Henry and several nieces and nephews.
