Waterloo Dentist Found Dead In Home Garage
The body of J. T. H. McCoy, 60, a Waterloo dentist, was found in his garage after an apparent self inflicted gunshot. A .32 caliber revolver lay beside him. Coroner Sidney Ith ruled the death a suicide due to despondency over ill health. McCoy's wife survives.

Rescue of 19 Month Old Found in West Okoboji Lake
Owen Marsh Meredith Jr. 19 month old son of Mr and Mrs Owen Marsh Meredith of Los Angeles California was revived after being found beneath water at West Okoboji Lake. The child and his mother arrived at Pocahontas Point two weeks ago from Des Moines to visit relatives. The father was in California. The child was missed about 730 pm prompting a search.

Three Automobiles Damaged in Coppock Road Crash
