Investigations Open into Davenport Glider Crash
Davenport Iowa July 14 three investigations opened into a fatal glider crash that killed 23 year old Vetty Seaton of Davenport. The craft nosed into a farm field after a wing detached during a dive and was towed by Hittan Kahl. Rescue crews used saws and crowbars to recover the body as officials consider structural failure and other factors. Seaton held a private pilot license and planned to seek a commercial certificate.
