In Tokyo on July 13 General MacArthur announced Japan is demilitarized so completely that without external controls it could not rearm for modern war within a century. He praised the policy as uniting the Allied powers and setting Japan on a peaceful, constructive future.
Dorothy Margaret Wasson filed for divorce from John Henry Wasson in Wellman clerk of court. They wed in Washington on March 14 1941 and separated June 8 1946 after a property settlement. Dorothy seeks restoration of her maiden name Dorothy Margaret Adams. attorney T R Adams of Wellman represents her.
