Kirkwood Shifts From Adult Education to Community Education
Kirkwood Community College renames its adult education program to Community Education to broaden access. The change follows enrollment of under 18 students in daytime high school completion and tutoring, with aims to decentralize evening classes to neighborhood schools and attract whole families. The district serves Area Ten with 587 non credit evening classes this winter and over 15 000 registrations last year.
