Charles City man Gulsvig fined and license suspended

He says bonds redeem at 100 cents on the dollar, pay 2.9 percent interest to maturity, and can be redeemed after 60 days, helping postwar budgeting and inflation control. He warns against unnecessary land purchases and favors debt adjustment and simple farm accounting.

Eight Heifers Found Near Crawfordsville Ownership Revealed
Cattle found wandering near Crawfordsville were identified as the property of Wilbur Lchantz, about two miles from town. Karl Ferguson reported the discovery to Sheriff Putnam. The eight head appeared last Sunday in Howard Williams's field after the gate was left open. Williams released them hoping they would reach their owner.
