Prison Guard Killed in Rifle Demonstration Accident

The Farmers Mutual Insurance Association of Washington County elected five directors and renewed officers after reporting 1941 as the best year in its 68 year history. Longtime Ainsworth area resident with hardware store ties dies
Time on a farm north of Ainsworth before moving to town in 1904. He worked at Marr and J A Marsh hardware stores for many years. He belonged to Royal Neighbor and Masonic lodges and the Methodist church. He served as councilman. Surviving are daughters Mrs Clarence Richards and Mrs Genevieve Peterson of Ainsworth, son Carl of Burlington, and son Dave of Waterloo. Deceased are children Fred Arthur Mrs Hither Henderson and Otis.
