Tex Ritter Dies After Heart Attack in Nashville
Tex Ritter famed singing cowboy and star of 85 films and six decades of recording died of a massive heart attack in Davidson County Jail visiting a friend in Nashville Tennessee. He was 67 and died at a local hospital after slumping in his chair while discussing bond with Lamar Watkins. Services are set for Friday at First Presbyterian Church with burial in Nederland Texas on Monday.
