Funeral services for Dr. T M Mast will be held at 10 a m Saturday at Jones Funeral Home with Rev Milan Thompson in charge. Burial will be in Ottumwa. Dr Mast 59 died Wednesday Dec 30 1964 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City after a heart attack on Dec 18. He was born Oct 14 1905 in Wapello County reared in Ottumwa and a 1929 Arkansas Medical School graduate. He lived here since 1936 and was a trustee of multiple medical groups and a Navy World War II veteran. Survivors include two sons Truman Mast Jr and Richard Mast both of Vermilion SD one grandchild one brother Donald E Mast of Saratoga CA and one sister Mrs W D Elliott of Edinburg TX.

First road death of '65 in Iowa
