Violence Flare Emerges In Princess Anne Maryland
A bomb exploded in a Negro family yard in Princess Anne Maryland and a burning cross appeared near the all white college town. No injuries were reported. Earlier 300 state college students demonstrated in the business district, a police captain was struck and a white man was disarmed. Two student leaders were later released on bond.

Jetliner crash over Lake Pontchartrain with 58 aboard
An Eastern Air Lines jetliner carrying 58 people crashed into 16 feet of water in Lake Pontchartrain shortly after takeoff from New Orleans. A W Hinderman dies. former county engineer
Arthur W Hinderman 68 died at noon Feb 25 1964 at Washington County Hospital after a six month illness. He lived at 850 South Marion Avenue and will be buried at Cambrian Cemetery after a 2 pm Friday funeral at Jones Funeral Home. He was born Aug 2 1895 in Fairfax Minnesota and served as county engineer in Washington County for 34 years. He married Margaret Jones May 28 1920 in Ames. He served in World War I and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his wife two daughters eight grandchildren his mother and several siblings.
