Marvin T. Grattan a 91 year old Civil War veteran freed last August from an eight year term died at Seldershowe hospital after a lengthy illness. Court sentences two in gambling and larceny cases
In district court yesterday Wallerstremlow pleaded guilty to operating a gambling house and taking toll from players. He received a $100 fine with $50 suspended for good behavior and 15 days in county jail for nonpayment. Maynard Bower also pleaded guilty to larceny from a building and was sentenced to six months with five suspended and 30 days to serve plus $1 fine.
