Funeral services for John Robertson were held at 2 30 Sunday afternoon at the L A Jones funeral home conducted by Dr B F Schwartz of the Methodist church. A large turnout of relatives and friends attended. Pallbearers were Laurel Statler Daryl Statler Keith Wells Bart Hobbs Harlan Snyder and Bart Whetstine. Burial followed in Elm Grove cemetery.
Alice McDaniel, a teacher in Onslow, spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George McDaniel, returning to town afterward.
