Funeral services for 79 year old Mrs Emma Treischman of Wellman will be held Saturday at 2 p m in Powell funeral home with Rev D C Bissing in charge. Burial will be in Wellman cemetery. She died at home Wednesday after a long illness. Born March 29 1871 in Iowa County she married Jacco Treischman in 1897. Survivors: sons Theodore Ida Grove and Wesley Waynesboro VA. sister Mrs Laura Groft. She was a lifelong Methodist.

A 15 year old boy allegedly drunk after a party led to bootlegging charges against 60 year old Lena Fucaloro. DM McMichael of Monmouth was elected president of the United Presbyterian Home board at the annual meeting. Rev William Gamble Clarion and Rev John E Simpson Oak Park were named vice president and secretary respectively, with R A Stewart Des Moines as treasurer.
