Funeral of E. M. Huff Held Today
Funeral services for Edgar M. Huff were held at 2 30 this afternoon at Jones and McElhinney parlors with Dr. W W Bowers officiating. Burial followed at Elm Grove. Pallbearers were Barthelomew Van Sickle Meek Easter McGuire Crosby. Huff died Saturday noon at his East Washington street home from heart disease after a brief illness. He was born May 8 1857 in Hillsdale Michigan and moved to Kansas before settling near Crawfordsville Washington county. Surviving are his widow a brother Dr W A Huff of Indiana and a sister Miss Alma Huff of Kansas City Missouri.

At Schindler's Prairie House in Middletown New York seven bodies were recovered from the ruins after a morning fire. Only two were identified as hotel waiters.
