Grace deYoung born December 13 1862 in Holland daughter of Albert de Yong. She married Owen P Cnossen in the Netherlands November 30 1889 and came to the United States in 1912. Survived by three sons Peter Owen and Gary and five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services at Jones funeral home Friday February 22 at 2 p.m. with Dr. Evert Haney in charge. Burial in Elm Grove cemetery. Mr Cnossen died August 5 1940.

Max A. Workman director of the international revenue offices in the basement of the Washington post office announced the office will close Friday for George Washington's birthday observance. The office will be open Thursday instead and will operate March 10 to 15 inclusive to assist residents with current gas reports. Local hours are 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.
