Readlyn Farmer Die After Collision With Train
Readlyn resident Louis Heinrich, 50, a farmer living 2 1/2 miles southwest of Readlyn, died at Mercy hospital in Waverly from injuries after his automobile was struck by a westbound Great Western train west of Readlyn. Authorities believe he tried to stop on seeing the train, but the car skidded on ice into its path.

Funeral services for Mrs. N E West are set for two o clock Saturday at L A Jones funeral home led by Rev Vernon Carter and Rev Ivan Riess. Burial will follow in Keota cemetery. She died yesterday after noon at daughter Kermit Jones home in Keota after four months ill and had lived in the county all her life. She was active in the Christian church and Ladies Aid, and in the J W Baker Women’s Relief Corps named for her father. She was born March 24 1892 in Seventy six township and married N K West March 31 1909. She is survived by husband three daughters Bonnie West Rex West and two other daughters and one son with several siblings.
