At Least Six Die In Iowa Road Accidents
At least six persons were killed and 18 injured in weekend automobile crashes in Iowa. The dead include Carl Baughan a Chariton youth, Charles Basa of Chariton, Harold Morton of Providence Rhode Island, Ralph Swanson of Valley Springs South Dakota, Thomas Callahan of Cherokee and Francis Morrie of Eagle Grove. Morrie died from injuries after a truck he rode in was struck by a Great Western train at Clarion. Callahan died when he lost control on a curve west of Fort Dodge. Baughan perished in Des Moines Sunday in a truck collision with a Rock Island train at Carliste.
