Robins Return in Ainsworth Area Herald Signs of Spring

Five volunteers received Gray Lady orientation Tuesday at the county Red Cross office. The five are Deane Clingman Jerry Johnson Barbara McFadden Connie Musgrove and Wayne Stransky. They will serve at Washington County Hospital the VA Hospital in Iowa City and Shenk Rest Home in Wellman. There are 21 active Gray Ladies in the county Red Cross. Other volunteers are invited to contact the Red Cross office. Vernon Feuerhelm announced ticket sales for Finian's Rainbow at the Washington Community High School. Performances run March 11 12 and 13 with tickets $1 available March 8 at Phillips Drug for reserved seating.

In Jefferson County the Walnut school district voted Tuesday to join the Washington Community School District effective July 1 1965 by 29 yes to 17 no. The southern Walnut area will move to Fairfield on July 1 1966 with options for local high school attendance.
