4-H Members Visit State Capitol Observation Trip
Washington County 4-H seventh through ninth graders will tour the State Capitol on Friday March 25 to observe the Legislature. Three buses are reserved for the trip, which falls on a non school day for Washington and Highland Community Schools. Chaperones include 4-H Leaders Committee members and Julia Gamon. Applications will be distributed in early March.

Williams Family Home Destroyed by Fire Northeast of Washington
Parents Mr and Mrs Willard Williams and their son were at home when a rural house on the Alvin Horak farm northeast of Washington burned Sunday evening.
