Ida Grove trucker Albert Hillman aged 40 was found guilty of manslaughter in a district court over the pool hall killing of 41 year old C. C. Watts of Arthur. He faces sentencing February 21 with Iowa law allowing up to eight years in prison and a $1000 fine.
Sioux City official announces that Thomas C. Grindberg, a 39 year veteran and former $23 a week office boy, has been chosen president of Tolerton A Warfield Wholesale Grocery Co., succeeding the late William S. Warfield.
