Legislature Retains Cut in Income Tax
DES MOINES The Iowa legislature voted to extend the 50 percent forgiveness of the state income tax for two more years and Gov Blue said he will sign the measure. The House passed the bill on a two year basis and the Senate concurred. The tax will not be effective until publication but returns can be filed on the half rate now.
