Iowa Area School Administration Under Fire by Legislative Panel
A key legislative committee accuses the Iowa Department of Public Instruction of failing to control area schools. The draft report cites drainage, roofing, and cost issues at Creston Area XIV and calls for a board of control to curb waste while praising some vocational programs. The group contrasts liberal arts funding with vocational aid and urges swift legislative action.
