Samuel T Berewman aged 76 died at 2 am today at his home 617 South Third avenue after a brief illness. Funeral services set for 2 pm Monday at Sherman’s funeral home conducted by Dr F G C Witaigman, with burial in Wayland Methodists cemetery. Survived by wife Ella Shelton, two sons Karl W of Denver and Guy O of Holyoke, a stepdaughter Mrs L Palm, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. one son and one daughter preceded him in death. Born March 1 1857 near Wayland he lived on the farm there before moving to Wayland then Washington eleven years ago. He joined the Wayland Methodist Church as a young man and remained a member after moving to Washington.
