Wiltur Underhill known as the tri state terror was wounded and captured after a large raid on his residence in Shawnee Oklahoma He fled under heavy fire and fear gas bombs wounding many officers He had escaped Koansne state prison in May and faced multiple robberies and killings charges including the Kansas City Union Station massacre and a police officer murder in Chetopa Kansas His wife was jailed and two others at the scene were hospitalized with wounds

George B. Brenneman age 66 retired rural mail carrier of Columbus Junction died at 2 25 this morning in Washington county hospital after a week of illness. He delivered mail 31 years on rural route three and traveled 255000 miles. Survived by widow May Kedsington two sons Albert and Gerald one sister Mrs Cora Pierce one grandchild. Funeral planned Monday with Presbyterian pastor Rev T M Balcoff at Columbus City cemetery burial there.
