Inside Trinity Site the First Atomic Test Remains
Tourists visit the Trinity test site in New Mexico where the first atomic bomb was assembled and exploded on July 16, 1945. The desert landscape bears the remains of towers bunkers and a concrete encased device shelter while the giant mushroom cloud left its mark on history and memory.
