The Iowa Southern Utilities Company asks the Iowa State Commerce Commission for a franchise to erect poles wires towers and other fixtures for electric transmission in Washington County Iowa The hearing is set for January 9 1940 at 10 am in Des Moines Objections must be filed in writing in triplicate at least five days before the hearing The commission urges represented objections be by someone authorized to act Des Moines December 18 1939.
