Robber Takes $18 as Christmas Passed Him

Brother's Gun Kills Child in Home Near Fredericksburg

Auto Crash Injures Local Residents In Two Separate Incidents
Mr and Mrs E E Brackin of What Cheer injured in a Friday crash between Washington and West Chester. They are recovering at county hospital. Mr Brackin aged 67 was most seriously hurt. The Brackins were traveling with daughter Mrs I D Applegate of Sycamore for a Christmas visit when their car slid into a ditch on an icy No 2 road six miles west of Washington. Mrs Applegate and two young sons were only slightly hurt. In a second incident, Sunday, Eli Knepp of Washington and BE Stricker of Kalona were involved in a side swipe on a gravell ed road six and a half miles north of Washington. Damages were minor and Knepp sustained a superficial cut above one eye.

Keota Iowa December 27.1 Singmaster aged 70 longtime importer and breeder of Percheron horses died last night at 11 caused by a heart attack. He leaves wife Edna Cormac two grandchildren and several siblings. His world champion Percheron Lagas imported from France was owned by him and buried at Maplegrove farm.
