Nine Die As Greyhound Bus Slips Off I-5 In Oregon
A Greyhound bus carrying holiday travelers plunged down an embankment near Rogue River and Medford, Oregon, killing at least nine and injuring about 30. The wreck occurred on black ice in cold rain, with victims found both inside and outside the overturned bus. Two Sioux City Boys Drowned In River Tragedy
The bodies of Daniel Whitesell, 12, and Mark Jorgenson, 14, were recovered from the Big Sioux River near Riverside boat dock after they disappeared Tuesday while checking beaver traps. A grappling operation located Whitesell Wednesday, and Jorgenson was found Thursday about 50 feet away.
