Funeral services for 88 year old Mrs. Tom Rickey are set for Friday at First Presbyterian Church in Washington. Rev. Clarence Dehne will preside at 1 30 p m with Jones Funeral Home handling arrangements. Burial will be in Crawfordsville Cemetery. She died December 22 1965 in a Cedar Rapids nursing home after six years there with her daughter, having lived in Washington 1915 1959. Mary Martha Brown born February 19 1877 in Washington County was the daughter of Andrew T and Elizabeth Brown. She married Samuel Thompson Rickey on May 6 1909 and was a Presbyterian Church member. Surviving daughter Mary Rickey, a Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School teacher, and one brother Cary A Brown of Liberty Illinois.
