Church invites all to a full Christmas program with 10 46 a m sermon When Christmas Comes by Dr. Arthur Atack. Morning music includes organ preludes and vocal trios. Evening is candle light service at 6 30 p m followed by carol visits to homes.
A church notes the true meaning of Christmas centers on a 2000 year old event in Palestine with a baby in humble surroundings. The message emphasizes joy and peace radiating worldwide from the infant birth as a guide for readers during the season.
The congregation will hold only morning worship and Bible school on Sunday. Bible school starts at 9 45 a m with Communion and a sermon titled A Savior is Born. Pastor Vernon H Carter leads with C A Nicholson superintendent and Mrs W H Carter organist.
