City wage error corrected on pay raise figures
The Evening Journal clarifies that the Washington City Council did not set the lowest city wage at 4.08 dollars per hour for all workers. Manual labor, street, sanitation and similar posts will see the higher rate, while office staff and water plant operators will remain lower at 3.25 dollars per hour starting January 1.
