LeRoy Cupp 51 of 316 East Third Street died at 8 a m Sunday December 21 1958 of a heart attack after an illness since October 9 when he suffered a stroke. Funeral services set for 9 30 a m Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home with Rev S Jay Curry. a service will follow at New Harmony Church near LaPlata Missouri at 3 30 p m burial in New Harmony Cemetery. Survivors include his wife one son Francis and adopted son Larry Dean Knight, two sisters and three brothers. Cupp was a former county home steward and had lived in Washington since July 31 1953. He was born June 6 1907 in Novelty Missouri. He married Lorene Sholl July 4 1931 at Kirksville Missouri. He belonged to the Moose Lodge Legion of the Moose Izaak Walton League Iowa State Association of County Officers and the Washington Golf and Country Club.
