Richard Kueneman 17 placed first in the district Make it Yourself With Wool contest and fourth in the state sewing contest, the first and only male Iowa contestant. He began sewing at nine, designed and made dozens of costumes, and served as Wool Ambassador. He plans fashion design study at Minneapolis College of Art and Design after graduating from Highland High School.

Fire damages Santa Claus Industries injures two firefighters
