Bumped airline passengers may receive CAB compensation guidance
Hundreds may be bumped as overbooking and fuel shortages cut flights. CAB rules require written denial of boarding explanation, rebooking within two to four hours, or refund with compensation from twenty five to two hundred dollars, paid within 24 hours. Contact CAB Office of Consumer Affairs at 202 382 7735.

The central point remains that judges guard rights rather than tilt outcomes.
