Blue Birds enjoy holiday activities
The Jolly Blue Birds and Lincoln Busy Blue Birds groups held Christmas crafts caroling and parties in December. Officers were elected for December and January. Members contributed to the Mitten Tree at the library, decorated, and shared treats and songs.

Temperance Union Meets At UP Home With Guests
The Women's Christian Temperance Union gathered at the UP Home with Miss Margaret Work on Thursday afternoon. Guests included Miss Glendine Lundquist a medical missionary on leave from Pakistan and Mrs. CS Ramsdale. Refreshments and a devotional led by Miss Carol McMillan followed as Miss Aurora McIntyre presented Total Abstinence Motivates the Family. Christmas boxes were collected for the Knoxville Veterans Hospital. A circle of prayer closed the session.
