Davenport Woman and Bettendorf Man Treated After Gunfire
A Davenport woman Mrs. Claudine Jackson aged 44 and Bettendorf resident Gene McDaniels aged 25 were hospitalized Tuesday with gunshot wounds in separate incidents. Police say Jackson was shot in the face as she walked with her husband in downtown Davenport. McDaniels was shot in the arm while walking to his car in a residential area. Authorities believe the shootings stemmed from domestic difficulties and allege the Jackson incident involved her husband A C Jackson, who is wanted by police.
