Victims of Zelaya’s Hatred Stir U S Diplomatic Rift
G Spencer Holland, an American with mining interests in Nicaragua, says Zelaya ordered the execution of Leroy Cannon and Leonard Groce for participation in the revolution. He describes Cannon and Grace as wealthy property owners persecuted by Zelaya, and says their deaths violated the 1908 Central American treaty guaranteed by the United States and Mexico.
