Erie Pa December 18 nine crew members of the Bessemer and Marquette ferry No 2 were found frozen aboard a yawl fifteen miles off Erie after forty eight hours of searching. The Commodore Perry recovered the bodies and a large procession followed the remains through downtown Erie as authorities identified nine men including H Thomas J W Soumars G R Smith F Steel J Shenk J Hart O Hagan and Charles Allen. Albert J Weis of Keystone Fish Co was aboard and his body had not yet been found.
