Mrs Beranek Services Held in Cedar Rapids
Funeral services were held yesterday at the Lesinger-Polan sky chapel for Mrs Gertrude Elsie Beranek of Cedar Rapids widow of Anton Beranek. Rev Father John Michalek of Solon conducted the rites. She died Monday at Mercy hospital after a lingering illness. Burial was in St Johns cemetery. She was born November 15 1899 in Gordonsville Minnesota and is survived by a daughter Mrs Oakley Payne of Washington her parents Mr and Mrs O Clarmon a granddaughter Nadine three brothers George twin brother in Town Falls Ollie in Visalia California Dan of Cedar Rapids and two sisters Mrs Leo Hershey of Cedar Rapids and Mrs J G Brown of Solon.
