Darnell died about noon yesterday at her home 202% South Iowa avenue. She was born November 9 1858 in Clinton county Ohio and moved with her parents to Henry county Iowa as a child. She married Alonza Darnell October 25 1881 and lived in Henry county then Perkins county Nebraska before returning to Henry and Washington counties. She lived in Washington since Mr Darnell’s death twelve years ago and was active in church work. She had two children Wallace Darnell of Washington and Minniea Darnell McMullen of Mt Pleasant and eight grandchildren and one great grandson plus eleven nieces and nephews. A brother T McKenzie of Wayland survives. A daughter died in infancy.
