Funeral Planned Monday for Earnest C Arnold
Earnest C Arnold 55 of Richland died Friday evening after a morning stroke. A lifelong farmer and Brighton resident, he moved to Richland three years ago and opened a cafe. Funeral at 2 pm Monday December 11 at Jones Funeral Home with Rev Karl C Longfellow presiding. Burial in New Haven Cemetery. Born August 1 1895 in Tennessee, he left behind wives Mary Heck, Alice Augustine, and Cora Borsdorff. Surviving family includes children Wayne, Virginia, Charlotte, Darlene and others, plus siblings and grandchildren.

Iowa Supreme Court Justice Oscar Hale, 83, of Wapello, died in a Burlington hospital from a heart ailment.
