King George’s illness: condition unchanged today

Child Two Years of Age Dies on Tuesday
A two year old child of Mr. and Mrs. Ed E. Simmering died yesterday after a hoon at the family home four and one half miles southeast of town. Death was due to a severe cold with complications. Surviving are the parents two sisters Helen and Hazel one brother Charles and grandparents Mr and Mrs John Simmering and Mr and Mrs Charles Kephart all of this community. Funeral services will be Thursday at one o'clock at the L A Jones funeral home conducted by Rev P E Rolt of the Christian Church. Burial will be in Elm Grove cemetery. Al Ledger was a morning passenger for Columbus Junction where he will spend the day on business.
