Morris Wins on His Carload Lots Cattle
Hugh Morris of Ainsworth won multiple awards at the International Livestock Show in Chicago for his carloads of fat cattle. He placed second for Shorthorn steers under 1050 pounds, first for 1050 and under 1150 pounds, and first and second for 1150 pounds and over, plus the champion carload of Shorthorns. Bob Foster earned tenth in his 4H Hereford calf class, while Elmer Schneider also exhibited a Hereford calf from the county. Bill Foster’s calf was culled but sold for $37.85 per hundred pounds.

Water and sewer for new houses in Washington area

A man was accosted at a night club by bandits who slapped him and shot him after he claimed he had no wallet.
