A five state alert was issued for three inmates who escaped from Carthage jail Tuesday night. The escapees are Walter E. Rich 31 of Carthage Roy L. Reynolds 34 alias James V. Ross Jr of Malvern Arkansas and Joe Haycraft 19 of Louisville Kentucky.
