Street to close on North 12th Avenue for Milwaukee track repair
Washington will close North 12th Avenue for about a week beginning Tuesday as railroad crews repair the Milwaukee tracks crossing near the Northrup King plant. Street Commissioner Frank Lukavsky said the crossing work already started but the closure begins Tuesday with hopes to finish by Friday as city officials move to the new municipal building and set up radio and phone systems.

Break-in at Highland High School Reports Minor Theft
